EAST GRANBY DEMOCRATS

INTEGRITY AND ACTION WORKING FOR YOU

TRUSTED LEADERSHIP

Since taking office, East Granby Democrats have been busy working for you. In two short years, our team of elected officials have accomplished many great things, but there is still more work to do. Below, you’ll find a list of our successes, as well as our vision for the future of East Granby. We are a small town, but when we work together, we can continue to achieve big things for our community.

ESTABLISHED A CODE OF ETHICS FOR ALL TOWN EMPLOYEES AND ELECTED OFFICIALS

For too long, East Granby was governed without a formal Code of Ethics for its elected officials or town employees. As a result, many questionable practices were considered routine, and citizens had no way to file complaints.

FIXED OUR BROKEN INFRASTRUCTURE AND ELIMINATED OUR SEWER DEFICIT

One of the biggest problems Jason Hayes faced when taking office, was the $1,975,958.60 sewer fund deficit that had been accruing, unchecked, for years.

INVESTED IN REVITALIZING GRANBROOK PARK

Granbrook Park is one of East Granby’s most treasured natural resources. Unfortunately, after years of neglect, it had become a shadow of its former self.

INSTALLED SOLAR CAR PORTS THAT SAVE TAXPAYERS MONEY

Taxpayer savings of $100,000 per year.
